Throughout
maritime history, the crow's nest has always been known as the
upper-most lookout near the ship's mast. Holland America Line
continues to provide such a stately venue in comfort and elegance.
A previous version of the Crow's Nest on Statendam featured glass, Tivoli lighting, and flashy features. A modernized décor was applied in 2005 and tends to resemble that of a chic nightclub. Pleasant colors and comfortable seating throughout allow for this area to be an observation lounge by day. By evening, the dance floor, impressive video screen, and dee jay booth all take part to make the Crow's Nest Statendam's adult nightclub. |

Below
the Oasis for teens are areas for younger age brackets as well.
Among these areas are sections for ages: 5 to 7 : art tables, big-screen TV, and games. 8 to 12 : arcade games, air hockey, foosball, karaoke, Sony Playstations, and DDR (Dance Dance Revolution). |
