Lido Deck

A prominent work of art on Lido Deck is this figurehead located in the Lido Restaurant.  It is made of oak and most likely represents the goddess Juno.  A small brass marking (881) indicates its museum number where it was once on display.
A forward viewing observation deck exists just forward of the gymnasium.

The Greenhouse Spa concept which was introduced on Holland America Line Vista class ships has now been brought to Statendam.
Left: A relaxing area is available to guests waiting for their treatments.

The ship's gymnasium offers most all types of exercise equipment to stay fit at sea.  Cardiovascular machines even offer flat panel monitors to keep guests entertained.
The Terrace Grill serves as an extension of the Lido Restaurant by offering food items such as hamburgers, hot dogs, and tacos.
'Dolphins' (1992) by Susanna Holt is a commonly seen work of art that Statendam initiated for the Statendam Class ships.  Originally being enlarged on a pantograph in Paris and then being sent to Florida for casting, they are bronze and weight two tons.
Available poolside is the Dolphin Bar serving up refreshments for sun worshippers.
The Lido Restaurant is Statendam's answer to a casual dining experience available for all meal times.
Stations throughout the Lido Restaurant provide areas for sandwiches, salads, beverages, and the popular ice cream bar.
Any number of table sizes are available and are graced with fresh flowers such as orchids.
This staircase landing at the aft end of the Lido Restaurant pays homage to the activity of the human body.  Strong colors and mirrored lines bring superhuman senses to each figure.
When weather permits, guests may opt to dine outdoors overlooking the aft Navigation Deck pool.
