Additional to the technical effects, great attention was placed on the audience experience offering perfect sight lines to the stage from any seat.  Oasis of the Seas debuted in 2009 with the smash hit Broadway musical 'Hairspray' and the amazing aerial production show 'Come Fly with Me'.  Guests may book reservations for these productions either online before embarkation, at the Box Office on the Royal Promenade, or from their stateroom televisions.

Across the forward lobby from the Opal Theater is Jazz on 4.  Jazz on 4 is reminiscent of the prohibition era of Chicago where guests will be treated to a program which includes a resident quartet, soulful singers, and a jazz jam orchestra.  Nearby to Jazz on 4 is Comedy Live which takes its inspiration from the abandoned Brooklyn City Hall train station in New York.  The exterior of the club itself takes the form of a subway train, photographic artwork serving as the windows in to daily commuters.  The interior walls of Comedy Live are 1950s style advertising posters, each with a comic twist.  At either side of the stage are word search wall tiles for those who like a good puzzle, suggesting words related to laughter.

oa10_014.jpg (124448 bytes) oa10_015.jpg (124966 bytes) Across from Comedy Live is Blaze, Oasis of Seas' nightclub.  Blaze continues the dungeon theme of various nightclubs on Royal Caribbean International ships.  Blaze's VIP area is separated from the main area of the club by floor to ceiling twisted iron railings.  The hottest music on the charts is played by a featured DJ from the Scratch DJ Academy.

As found on Voyager and Freedom class ships is Studio B, which is a versatile area transforming seamlessly from an ice palace to a game show theater instantly.  Oasis of the Seas debuted in her inauguration with the ice show 'Frozen in Time'.

Amidships is the stylish Casino Royale which takes its inspiration from the casinos of the French Riviera where guests will find 460 slot machines, 104 penny machines, and 27 table games including Blackjack, craps, roulette, and Caribbean Stud Poker.

Aft of Entertainment Place is the Opus Dining Room where the classic design was inspired by the 1920s French Art Deco movement, Emile Ruhlmann.  Fundamental to Ruhlmann's work were elegant lighting, simple shapes, and lots of beautiful wood.  The center of focus in the main dining room is Laurie Kaplowitz's masterpiece titled 'Genesis' at nearly 27 feet in height.
