Main Deck

Most all Holland America Line ships have an intimate Atrium to maintain the smaller ship feel but also still bridge many of the key public areas for guests.

Frans Dingemans of VFD Interiors emphasizes the more contemporary and evolutionary feel of Eurodam in the Atrium with the centerpiece.  Dingemans created something less abstract and decided to have the ceiling filled with flowers.  The flowers are transparent flower-shaped forms to create a cluster that sweeps down from the ceiling.

Anchoring the Atrium on Main Deck are the Atrium Bar, Front Office, Shore Excursions Desk, Guest Relations Manager desk, and Future Cruise Consultant desk.  There are also hospitality desks that parallel each other for group leaders, etc.  Both forward and aft of the Atrium on Main Deck are outside and inside guest staterooms.

Completely forward on Main Deck is the lower level of the Mainstage Theater.  The Mainstage Theater sweeps up to Lower Promenade and Promenade Decks.  The main theater can accommodate up to 890 guests and traditionally offers two different show times in the evening to accommodate a wide range of meal times.

The singers and dancers of the Eurodam put on three different production shows.  At the time of this publication, the three production shows featured on board are «Nightlife», «Dream Park», and «In Concert».  The Eurodam has brought Holland America Line even further forward with its production shows in terms of technology, costumes, and talent.

The Mainstage also hosts a variety of other guest activities that invite a larger number of guests.
