ed_359.jpg (79295 bytes) ed_392.jpg (89389 bytes) Forward and aft of the Mainstage Theater on Lower Promenade Deck is Eurodam's casino.  The casino features five blackjack tables, one 'Fun 21' blackjack table, one American roulette table, one dice table, Bonus Let it Ride poker, Caribbean Stud poker, Three Card poker, touch screen poker table, and twenty-six slot machines.

Adjacent to the casino on the starboard side of the ship are the 65 seat Piano Bar and the 42 seat Sports Bar.  The Piano Bar, as traditional on other Holland America Line ships, is popular for guest requests and sing-a-longs.

The Sports Bar is an exciting and whimsical venue for those who would like to catch a popular event on television or catch up on sports news.

The nightlife fun continues in the Northern Lights nightclub.  Northern Lights is one of the public areas that was designed by Petter Yran & Bjørn Storbraaten.  Guests will easily recognize the more contemporary look and feel of the Northern Lights nightclub compared to other fleetmates.

Versus a separate sitting bar areas as on the Vista Class ships, the main bar opens directly to the main public area.  There is a large screen adjacent to the dance floor to display music videos and live feed from the dance floor.  Camera feed from the dance floor is also displayed on tables throughout Northern Lights and on screens at the bar.

Proceeding aft from the Northern Lights is a winding corridor that sweeps guests amidships and takes them past some impressive works of art to peruse.  The 166 seat Queens Lounge and Culinary Arts Center is aft of Northern Lights and serves as an alternative entertainment venue to the Mainstage.  Guests can enjoy one of the ship's bands here, comedy acts, and «Broadway Moves to Queen's».

Amidships flanking the Atrium are the Pinnacle Grill and Pinnacle Bar.  The Pinnacle Bar is a great place to enjoy some great wine whether proceeding to dinner in the Pinnacle Grill or not.  This area has a very clean, sharp, modern look to it with pleasing marine colors and frosted glass.

The 140 seat Pinnacle Grill features a rich selection of Sterling Silver Beef, seafood, and world class wines.  All are served with exquisite Bvlgari ® China, Riedel ® stemware, and Frette ® linens.

Eurodam's introduction also brought along a new menu for the Pinnacle Grill   Starters include items such as Dungeness crab cake, seasonal greens, and Caesar salad.  Some featured entrées are filet mignon, king salmon, lamb rack chops, and a selection of steak cuts.

Other featured specials include butternut squash soup, grilled diver scallops, and frozen soufflé glacé Grand Marnier.  Wine lovers will particularly enjoy the selection of Washington State wine flights.  Reservations are by appointment only and there is a nominal service fee.

Aft of the Pinnacle Bar is Eurodam's art gallery where guests can preview items that are available at the art auctions.

The 41 guest capacity Explorer's Lounge is an example of an area that is popular on all other Holland America Line ships.  This is an elegant and classy area in which to enjoy the ship's string trio and other classic items traditionally offered here.

New to the Explorer's Lounge on Eurodam is the 14 seat Explorer's Bar.   This offers convenient drink service for the Explorer's Lounge and for guests to sit, people watch, and make conversation with the bartender in a familiar environment.

Located completely aft on both Promenade and Lower Promenade Decks is the two-story, 1,114 capacity Rembrandt Dining Room.  The Rembrandt Dining room offers both traditional, fixed dining times as well as open seating.  Guests can specify which they prefer during their cruise booking process.  Open seating allows guests to either call in a preferred time or to appear at the dining room and be seated.  If a seat is not immediately available, a pager is given to call guests when it is ready.

The ceiling design of the Rembrandt Dining Room was intended to have a wave effect.  The large curving sculptures were designed by Frans Dingemans of VFD Interiors.
