Sports Deck - Maasdam Photologue







The 366 seat Crow's Nest Lounge is located completely forward on Sky Deck. The Crow's Nest Lounge serves as an observatory and multi-purpose lounge by day. By night, the Crow's Nest becomes the Maasdam's discotheque. The Crow's Nest Lounge has a completely new look from that which she sported prior to her 'Signature of Excellence' renovation in April of 2006. The look of the Crow's Nest Lounge changed from an arctic theme of hot reds, purples, and oranges to a contemporary deco appearance. Heading outdoors from the Crow's Nest, there is an expansive outdoor deck where guests can enjoy sport activities such as basketball, volleyball, tennis, shuffleboard, and quoits. Located aft on Sports Deck are the facilities of Club HAL. All of the youth activities on board are supervised by permanent, full-time staff. Programming is broken down into the age ranges of (3 - 7), (8 - 12), and (13 - 17). Kids Culinary Workshops are also offered to two age group ranges : three to seven & eight and up. Teenagers age fifteen and up may participate in the adult classes.
