Christened by the original cast of the 'Love Boat' television series in 1997, the Dawn Princess is the second sister in the 'Sun Class' ships.  There is a very high consistency level of décor among the Princess Cruises ships and the Dawn Princess carries this tradition.  A pleasing palette of pastels, light woods, and brass are part of what creates the comfort of Dawn Princess. 

Captains Circle (past guests of Princess) will immediately find themselves at home in the Grand Plaza upon embarkation.  The Grand Plaza links all of the essential guest areas in a sweeping and dynamic fashion.  Striking features in the Grand Plaza include a circular marble foyer, glass elevators, circular floating staircases, and an impressive glass dome overhead.
